Common questions
How should I judge fit for the 10x8x24" size?
The listed size is 10x8x24" — the gusseted sides fold out so the bag can open to its listed depth and sit around blockier items. The catalog lists inside-usable dimensions of 24" Length x 10" Width x 8" Gusseted Depth, so that measurement is what your item has to fit within.
What does 1 mil film mean in practice?
A mil is one-thousandth of an inch, so 1 mil film is 1/1000" thick — 4 mil film, for example, is twice the film thickness of 2 mil. Heavier film of the same material stands up to punctures and rough handling better; lighter film costs less per bag and packs tighter. This listing's material is specified as 1 Mil Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE).
Can I swap PB1398 for the next size up or down?
Not as an exact replacement. The closest sizes in this line are 10" W x 6" Gusset x 20" H and 12" W x 8" D x 24" H (same 1 mil film), and the same 10x8x24" size is also stocked in 2 and 3 mil. Before switching, match the listed dimensions, 1 mil thickness, and case count — then reorder by exact SKU PB1398.
What do I need to seal these, and what does a full order look like?
These are open-top bags — close them with a heat sealer, bag tape, twist ties, or staples, whichever fits your workflow. This listing is sold as one case of 1,000 bags — roughly $0.13 per bag at the current case price (confirm the live price before ordering). Orders ship from Packrift's five US warehouse regions (Central IL, NE PA, S TX, SE GA, and W CA); delivery options and timing are shown at checkout.
