Common questions
Will a boxy or bulky item fit in this 10x8x20" bag?
The listed size is 10x8x20" — the gusseted sides fold out so the bag can open to its listed depth and sit around blockier items. Plan for contents slightly smaller than the nominal size — the usable interior runs a bit under the listed measurement once the bag takes shape around what you load into it.
How does 2 mil compare with lighter or heavier film?
A mil is one-thousandth of an inch, so 2 mil film is 2/1000" thick — 4 mil film, for example, is twice the film thickness of 2 mil. Heavier film of the same material stands up to punctures and rough handling better; lighter film costs less per bag and packs tighter. This listing's material is specified as Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE) - 2 Mil.
Can a nearby size or thickness replace PB1595?
Not as an exact replacement. The closest sizes in this line are 10x6x20" and 12x8x30" (same 2 mil film), and the same 10x8x20" size is also stocked in 4 mil. Before switching, match the listed dimensions, 2 mil thickness, closure type, and case count — then reorder by exact SKU PB1595.
How does the closure work, and what does a full order look like?
The closure is listed as Twist Ties, Bag Tape, or Impulse Sealers, so the bag closes without separate tape or heat. This listing is sold as one case of 500 bags — roughly $0.19 per bag at the current case price (confirm the live price before ordering). Orders ship from Packrift's five US warehouse regions (Central IL, NE PA, S TX, SE GA, and W CA); delivery options and timing are shown at checkout.
