Common questions
How should I judge fit for the 15x9x32" size?
The listed size is 15x9x32" — the gusseted sides fold out so the bag can open to its listed depth and sit around blockier items. The catalog lists inside-usable dimensions of 32" H x 15" W x 9" D (Gusseted), so that measurement is what your item has to fit within.
Is 3 mil the right thickness for my use?
A mil is one-thousandth of an inch, so 3 mil film is 3/1000" thick — 4 mil film, for example, is twice the film thickness of 2 mil. Heavier film of the same material stands up to punctures and rough handling better; lighter film costs less per bag and packs tighter. This listing's material is specified as LDPE Polyethylene (3 Mil Thickness).
Can a nearby size or thickness replace PB1750?
Not as an exact replacement. The closest sizes in this line are 15" H x 8" W x 3" Gusseted Sides and 12" W x 12" D x 24" H (same 3 mil film), and the same 15x9x32" size is also stocked in 2 mil. Before switching, match the listed dimensions, 3 mil thickness, and case count — then reorder by exact SKU PB1750.
What do I need to seal these, and what does a full order look like? And can I use them for food?
These are open-top bags — close them with a heat sealer, bag tape, twist ties, or staples, whichever fits your workflow. This listing is sold as one case of 250 bags — roughly $0.59 per bag at the current case price (confirm the live price before ordering). Orders ship from Packrift's five US warehouse regions (Central IL, NE PA, S TX, SE GA, and W CA); delivery options and timing are shown at checkout. On food use: the film is LDPE Polyethylene (3 Mil Thickness), a material commonly used in food packaging, and the manufacturer spec sheet for this item lists "Compliance: FDA and USDA Approved". Food-contact compliance is still certified per product lot, so check the spec sheet or contact us for lot documentation before direct food contact.
