Common questions
How should I judge fit for the 24x20x48" size?
The listed size is 24x20x48" — the gusseted sides fold out so the bag can open to its listed depth and sit around blockier items. The catalog lists inside-usable dimensions of 24" W x 20" Gusset x 48" H, so that measurement is what your item has to fit within.
How does 3 mil compare with lighter or heavier film?
A mil is one-thousandth of an inch, so 3 mil film is 3/1000" thick — 4 mil film, for example, is twice the film thickness of 2 mil. Heavier film of the same material stands up to punctures and rough handling better; lighter film costs less per bag and packs tighter. This listing's material is specified as 3 Mil LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene).
Is there a drop-in substitute for PB1770?
Not as an exact replacement. The closest sizes in this line are 15x9x32" and 32x28x48"; any size change alters the usable interior. Before switching, match the listed dimensions, 3 mil thickness, and case count — then reorder by exact SKU PB1770.
What do I need to seal these, and what does a full order look like?
These are open-top bags — close them with a heat sealer, bag tape, twist ties, or staples, whichever fits your workflow. This listing is sold as one case of 50 bags — roughly $1.61 per bag at the current case price (confirm the live price before ordering). Orders ship from Packrift's five US warehouse regions (Central IL, NE PA, S TX, SE GA, and W CA); delivery options and timing are shown at checkout.
