Common questions
How should I judge fit for the 15x9x24" size?
The listed size is 15x9x24" — the gusseted sides fold out so the bag can open to its listed depth and sit around blockier items. Plan for contents slightly smaller than the nominal size — the usable interior runs a bit under the listed measurement once the bag takes shape around what you load into it.
Is 4 mil the right thickness for my use?
A mil is one-thousandth of an inch, so 4 mil film is 4/1000" thick — 4 mil film, for example, is twice the film thickness of 2 mil. Heavier film of the same material stands up to punctures and rough handling better; lighter film costs less per bag and packs tighter. This listing's material is specified as 4 Mil Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE).
Is there a drop-in substitute for PB1830?
Not as an exact replacement. The closest sizes in this line are 12" W x 10" D x 24" H and 16x14x36" (same 4 mil film), and the same 15x9x24" size is also stocked in 1 and 3 mil. Before switching, match the listed dimensions, 4 mil thickness, closure type, and case count — then reorder by exact SKU PB1830.
Do these bags reseal, and how do they arrive?
The closure is listed as Twist Ties, Bag Tape, or Impulse Sealers, so the bag closes without separate tape or heat. This listing is sold as one case of 250 bags — roughly $0.60 per bag at the current case price (confirm the live price before ordering). Orders ship from Packrift's five US warehouse regions (Central IL, NE PA, S TX, SE GA, and W CA); delivery options and timing are shown at checkout.
