Common questions
Will the hot melt adhesive stick to wet or damp boxes?
Hot melt adhesive performs best on dry surfaces. For optimal adhesion, ensure corrugated boxes or shipping materials are dry before application. For consistently wet environments, consider our moisture-resistant adhesive options.
Can these envelopes be machine-applied or hand-applied?
These envelopes accommodate both hand application and semi-automated labeling systems. The 5 1/2" x 10" size and peelable backing work with most packing line equipment operating at standard fulfillment speeds.
Why choose orange over clear or white packing list envelopes?
Orange coloring provides immediate visual identification in sorting and receiving operations, reducing picking errors and accelerating document verification. The high contrast also improves accessibility compliance for warehouse staff.
How long does the adhesive maintain its bond during extended storage or temperature fluctuations?
Hot melt adhesive maintains secure bonding under standard warehouse conditions (50-75°F). For long-term outdoor storage or extreme temperature environments, test a sample batch first or consult our packaging specialists.
