Common questions
Will the adhesive hold on wet or damp cardboard?
The hot melt adhesive performs best on dry surfaces. For optimal adhesion, ensure box surfaces are clean and dry before application. Slight moisture may reduce hold strength; test in your environment before large-scale deployment.
Can these envelopes be applied by hand or do I need equipment?
No equipment needed. Simply peel and stick the hot melt adhesive backing directly to your corrugated box. This makes them ideal for both manual and semi-automated fulfillment lines.
Are these envelopes compatible with automated label applicators?
These are designed for manual application. For high-speed automated systems, consult our sales team about compatible envelope options that integrate with your existing machinery.
What's the adhesive strength rating compared to tape or labels?
Hot melt adhesive provides permanent bond strength comparable to heavy-duty shipping tape while maintaining document visibility and professional appearance. It resists peeling during standard shipping handling and returns.
