Are these seals compatible with all strapping widths?

Can sandpaper seals be used with adhesive-based sealers?
No. These seals are engineered specifically for use with Signode® mechanical sealers only. Using them with incompatible equipment may result in poor sealing performance and product damage.
What makes sandpaper seals better than smooth seals?
The sand-coated surface creates grip and friction against polyester and polypropylene strapping, preventing slippage during transport. This is especially critical for smooth polyester strapping that would slip on traditional smooth seals.
How many seals do I need per shipment?
Typically, 2-4 seals per pallet are recommended depending on load weight and strapping configuration. Industrial best practices suggest calculating based on your average pallet dimensions and load specifications for optimal load stability.
