Common questions
What does ECT-32 mean, and is it strong enough for my load?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) 32 means the corrugated can withstand 32 lbs of pressure per linear inch before crushing. This rating handles typical mid-range product weights and is ideal for layer pads supporting stacked pallets in most warehouse environments. For heavier loads (over 500 lbs per stack), consult our ECT-40 options.
How many pads do I need per pallet?
Standard 48" 40" pallets typically require 2 - 4 layer pads per lift depending on product height and stack count. A single 24 24" sheet covers roughly half a standard pallet footprint; position multiple sheets to create full coverage or strategic high-contact zones where weight concentration occurs.
Will these pads increase my freight costs?
No, ECT-32 single-wall corrugated is lightweight (approximately 1.5 lbs per sheet) and adds minimal dimensional weight. The damage reduction and pallet stability improvements typically offset the modest material cost, delivering ROI through fewer damaged-in-transit claims.
Can I order larger quantities for volume pricing?
Yes. Bundles of 5 are standard, but warehouse-scale orders (pallets of 100+) qualify for bulk discounting and custom packing options. Contact our B2B sales team for volume pricing and dedicated inventory programs tailored to your throughput.
