Common questions
What does ECT-32 mean, and why does it matter for my operation?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) 32 indicates the sheet can withstand 32 lbs of force per inch of edge before crushing. For layer pads, this rating ensures consistent stacking performance, prevents collapse under load, and delivers reliable protection across repeated shipment cycles, critical for high-velocity fulfillment centers.
How do 32 x 48" sheets fit my pallet configuration?
This size aligns with industry-standard 40" 48" pallets, allowing you to place one pad per layer with minimal overhang. This maximizes contact area for weight distribution while fitting standard racking, conveyor systems, and truck beds without trimming or waste.
Can I reuse these sheets, or are they single-use?
While designed as disposable dunnage, ECT-32 sheets remain structurally sound through 3 - 5 shipment cycles if stored in dry conditions. Many operations rotate pads between shipments before recycling, extending value and reducing per-use cost.
How many bundles do I need per pallet, and what's the freight impact?
A standard 40 48" pallet typically uses 1 pad per layer. For a 10-layer load, order 2 bundles (10 sheets). Each bundle weighs ~15 lbs; flat-pack design adds minimal dimensional weight, keeping total freight costs low even on large-volume orders.
