Common questions
What does ECT-90 mean, and why does it matter for my operation?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) rating of 90 lbs/inch measures the compressive strength of corrugated material under load. ECT-90 triple wall corrugated can withstand significantly greater stacking weight and forklift impact than single or double wall alternatives, reducing product damage, claims, and operational downtime.
How many layers of protection does triple wall corrugated provide compared to double wall?
Triple wall corrugated (9 plies total) offers approximately 40-50% greater crush strength and puncture resistance than double wall (5 plies). This extra durability extends sheet reusability for 3-5 additional cycles, improving your per-unit cost efficiency on high-volume shipments.
Will 36" x 36" sheets fit my existing pallet dimensions and racking systems?
Yes, 36" x 36" is the industry standard for 40" x 48" pallet slip sheets, with slight overhang that prevents product shifting during transit and stacking. The square format optimizes vertical load distribution and integrates directly with standard warehouse racking, conveyors, and automation equipment.
Can I reuse these sheets, or are they single-use?
ECT-90 triple wall sheets are engineered for 3-5 reuse cycles under normal warehouse conditions before recyclability. Reusing sheets reduces packaging spend by 60-70% compared to single-use alternatives while maintaining full product protection throughout the asset lifecycle.
