Common questions
What does ECT-32 mean, and why does it matter for my operation?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) of 32 lbs/in measures how much vertical pressure the corrugated can withstand before collapsing. For warehouse applications, ECT-32 is ideal for single-wall layer pads, strong enough to protect stacked products, yet cost-effective for high-volume use. It supports standard pallet loads without excessive material cost.
Can these 40x72 sheets work with my existing pallet configuration?
Yes. The 40 x 72" dimension is engineered for standard 40 x 48" and 48 x 40" pallet footprints with slight overhang, providing edge protection and dust coverage. They work as slip sheets, dividers between product tiers, and anti-slip bases when layered under pallets.
How many sheets do I need per pallet, and what's the cost impact?
Typically, 1 - 2 sheets per pallet layer depending on product height and stacking configuration. At 5-sheet bundle pricing, per-unit cost is optimized for high-volume buyers. Bulk discounts apply to larger orders, making this a low-cost insurance against product damage and freight claims.
Are these corrugated sheets compostable or recyclable?
Yes. ECT-32 kraft corrugated is 100% recyclable and meets sustainability standards for companies targeting waste reduction and circular economy goals. Customers can return used pads to recycling programs, reducing landfill impact and supporting ESG initiatives.
