Common questions
Is the Rolmark Fountain Roller compatible with all Rolmark ink types?
Yes, this fountain roller is specifically designed for use with Rolmark Stencil Ink and works on all surfaces including cardboard, plastic, metal, and wood. Confirm your specific ink formulation matches Rolmark stencil ink products for optimal performance.
How often should I replace the neoprene roller?
The long-wearing neoprene construction extends roller life significantly with proper maintenance. Replace when you notice inconsistent ink application or visible wear. The included cover helps extend service life by protecting the roller between uses.
Can this roller be used for manual stenciling, or is it only for fountain systems?
The Rolmark Fountain Roller is engineered for fountain-based stencil systems that provide continuous ink supply. For manual stenciling, consult Rolmark product documentation to ensure compatibility with your specific marking application.
What maintenance is required to keep the roller in optimal condition?
Always replace the protective roller cover after each use to prevent neoprene drying and deterioration. Clean the aluminum and brass components with appropriate solvents compatible with Rolmark inks, and store in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight.
