Common questions
What tape widths work with the 3M M96 dispenser?
The M96 accommodates tape up to 1 inch in width on a 3" core, making it compatible with standard carton sealing tape rolls used across most industrial packaging operations.
How does the definite length feature reduce costs?
By automatically dispensing consistent strip lengths (3/4" to 5"), the M96 eliminates tape waste from manual cutting and operator error, directly reducing material costs while accelerating packing speed.
Is the weighted base necessary for stability?
Yes. The weighted base prevents tipping and shifting during high-volume use, ensuring safe operation and consistent tape cuts even in fast-paced warehouse environments.
Can I adjust the tape strip length while working?
Yes, the M96 features an adjustable mechanism allowing you to set strip lengths anywhere from 3/4" to 5" based on your carton size, providing flexibility across multiple packaging applications.
