Common questions
Is the 3M H122 compatible with standard 2-inch carton sealing tape?
Yes, the H122 is fully compatible with all standard 2-inch wide carton sealing tapes, including acrylic, hot melt, and specialty adhesive formulations. The universal core design accepts most 3-inch and 2-inch core diameters.
How does the hand brake improve sealing consistency?
The integrated hand brake allows operators to control tape tension manually, preventing over-application and ensuring consistent adhesion to carton flaps. This precision reduces tape waste and minimizes weak seals that fail during shipping.
What is the typical lifespan of this dispenser in a high-volume operation?
The durable high-impact plastic construction typically lasts 12-18 months in continuous packing line use. Regular maintenance and proper tape loading extend operational life and maintain seal quality.
Can operators use the H122 with different tape core sizes?
Yes, the H122's universal core slot accommodates standard 2-inch and 3-inch internal core diameters, providing flexibility for different tape suppliers and adhesive types without equipment changes.
