Common questions
Will the H190 work with all 2-inch carton sealing tapes, including acrylic and hot-melt adhesives?
Yes. The H190 is compatible with all standard 2-inch carton sealing tapes regardless of adhesive type (acrylic, hot-melt, or water-activated). However, adhesion performance depends on core compatibility and tape quality, we recommend 3M™ branded tapes for optimal results on corrugated surfaces.
How does the ergonomic design reduce operator fatigue on long shifts?
The contoured pistol grip distributes sealing force across the palm and fingers rather than concentrating pressure on the trigger finger, reducing strain on tendons and muscles. Operators report 40-50% less hand and wrist fatigue, enabling higher throughput with fewer breaks and lower workers' compensation claims.
What tape core size does the H190 accept, and can I switch between standard and jumbo rolls?
The H190 accommodates standard 3-inch cores used on most commercial 2-inch carton sealing tapes. For core compatibility questions or custom roll specifications, consult your tape supplier's technical documentation or contact our sales team, we maintain compatibility guides for all major brands.
How do I load tape using the pull-apart handle mechanism?
Simply pull apart the handle arms, insert a fresh roll of 2-inch tape onto the core spindle, align the tape through the dispenser channel, and snap the handle back together. The mechanism locks automatically. This quick-change design reduces downtime between rolls and minimizes operator training time.
