Common questions
What makes these tubes crush-resistant compared to standard mailing tubes?
The 0.125" thick double-wall spiral wound fibreboard construction provides rigidity and impact absorption. This heavy-duty design protects contents from compression damage during multi-handling and stacking throughout the shipping process.
Are the telescoping caps included, and how do they secure the tube?
Yes, each tube includes a 6" flush-joint telescoping cap. The cap slides over the tube opening and can be secured with tape or labels for tamper-evident sealing. The flush joint creates a tight seal that prevents contents from shifting.
What types of documents and items are suitable for 3x36 tubes?
These tubes are ideal for rolled blueprints, architectural drawings, posters up to 36" length, rolled artwork, legal documents, technical plans, and fabric samples. The 3" diameter accommodates standard rolled materials without crushing.
How cost-effective is ordering by the case versus smaller quantities?
Ordering a full case of 24 tubes provides significant per-unit savings compared to individual purchases, making it ideal for regular shippers. The nested design also reduces storage space, improving warehouse efficiency and reducing inventory costs.
