Common questions
Are these dots compatible with standard VELCRO Brand dispensers?
Yes. These individual hook dots work with most commercial dot dispensers used on packing lines. Verify your dispenser model accepts 1/2" dots before ordering, some older models require different sizing.
How many times can I reuse these hook dots?
Hook dots maintain strong adhesion through 50-100+ reattachment cycles depending on surface cleanliness and loop quality. For permanent case sealing, treat as single-use. For repositionable applications, expect 2-3 full production runs before replacement.
Do these work on all carton materials?
Best results on clean, dry cardboard and coated box surfaces. Corrugated with loose flaps or dusty finishes may reduce adhesion. Test on your specific case stock before full-line deployment to ensure core compatibility.
What's the cost advantage versus continuous tape?
Individual dots eliminate waste per application and core disposal fees. At 1,440 dots per case with zero tape carrier, you pay for fastener only, no wasted carrier material on your packing line reducing both material cost and waste handling labor.
