Common questions
What surfaces does this double-sided foam tape bond effectively?
This polyethylene foam tape conforms to and adheres to most indoor surfaces including plastics, metals, composites, painted finishes, and laminates. Its flexible construction ensures contact even on slightly irregular surfaces, making it ideal for precision goods with varied mounting requirements.
Is this tape suitable for outdoor or temperature-sensitive shipments?
This tape performs optimally between 70-100°F. For temperature-sensitive shipments or outdoor exposure, we recommend confirming your storage and transit conditions remain within this range to maintain adhesive integrity and cushioning performance.
How much coverage does one case provide?
One case contains 12 rolls, each providing 36 yards (108 linear feet) of 1-inch-wide coverage. This equals 1,296 linear feet total, sufficient for extensive cushioning applications across multiple shipments or large production runs.
Will this tape protect fragile items from impact damage?
Yes. The 1/16" polyethylene foam layer absorbs shock and vibration during handling and transit, preventing micro-movements that cause damage to precision goods. Combined with the rubber adhesive's secure hold, it provides comprehensive protection for fragile items.
