About this item
SKU T950346 — 60 yds. × 60 yds., 16.7 Mil, Tan.
Heavy-duty 3M™ 346 flatback tape delivers weather-resistant protection for packing lines and carton sealing operations. This 12 " x 60 yard roll features 16.7 mil natural tan material with rubber adhesive, removes cleanly for up to 6 months, and resists abrasion on metals and plastics. One case per order, the reliable choice for supervisors who demand consistent adhesion and dependable dispenser performance.
Kraft flatback carton sealing tape: Good fit for paper carton sealing, corrugated boxes, storage cartons, and warehouse packing workflows that need strong flatback tape. This tape helps fulfillment, warehouse, ecommerce, and shipping teams choose the right carton-sealing tape for hand packing, machine packing, storage, and outbound order workflows.
Common questions
Will 3M 346 Flatback Tape work with automatic carton sealing dispensers?
Yes. The 12" width and consistent 16.7 mil thickness are compatible with standard industrial tape dispensers. Verify your dispenser's maximum roll width (typically 2" - 3" core diameter) before ordering to ensure straightforward packing line integration.
How long can this tape remain on sealed cartons without leaving residue?
3M 346 removes cleanly for up to 6 months, making it ideal for cartons stored in warehouses or during extended logistics cycles. Beyond 6 months, adhesive residue may increase depending on environmental conditions.
Can I use this tape on surfaces below 60°F or above 100°F?
Application below 60°F or above 100°F is not recommended, as adhesive performance degrades outside this range. For temperature-extreme environments, consider climate-controlled application areas or contact Packrift for alternative products.
What substrates does 3M 346 adhere to most reliably?
This tape bonds exceptionally well to metals, plastics, and paper-based surfaces. Abrasion-resistant flatback construction ensures strong adhesion on slightly textured or corrugated cartons commonly used in industrial packing lines.
