Common questions

What does ECT-32 mean and why does it matter for my warehouse?
ECT-32 (Edge Crush Test of 32 lbs/inch) is the industry standard single-wall rating for general-purpose shipping. It ensures your boxes withstand stacking pressures in warehouses and during transit, reducing damage claims and product loss while keeping unit costs competitive for high-volume operations.
How many boxes per pallet and what's the stacking height?
Standard pallet loads of these 12x9x6" boxes accommodate approximately 60-80 cases per pallet (depending on assembly method), with typical stack heights of 48-60 inches. Verify exact configuration with your logistics team to optimize truck capacity and warehouse floor space.
Can I use ECT-32 boxes for heavier items or outdoor storage?
ECT-32 single-wall is designed for items typically weighing 5-15 lbs per box depending on contents. For heavier products (15+ lbs) or extended outdoor exposure, consider upgrading to double-wall (ECT-44+) corrugated. Contact our team for recommendations based on your specific weight and environmental requirements.
Are these kraft boxes sustainable and what's the recycling rate?
Yes, 100% recyclable kraft corrugated aligns with ESG commitments and reduces landfill waste. Most municipalities accept these boxes in standard curbside or commercial recycling programs, supporting your sustainability goals while meeting cost efficiency targets.
