Common questions
Is this butcher paper FDA-compliant for direct food contact?
Yes. This unbleached kraft paper meets FDA food contact standards with near-neutral pH and low sulfur content, making it safe for wrapping meats, deli items, produce, and other food products without concern for chemical migration or contamination.
How long does a 1,000-foot roll last for a busy deli or butcher shop?
Usage depends on average wrap size, but a 1,000-foot roll typically lasts 2, 4 weeks for small-to-medium food service operations using standard 12, 24-inch wraps. Buying cases reduces per-unit costs and ensures consistent supply for high-volume operations.
Can I use this paper for non-food applications?
Absolutely. Beyond food wrapping, this versatile kraft paper works excellently for floral arrangements, plant wrapping, void fill in shipping boxes, and disposable table covers, making it a cost-effective multi-purpose packaging solution for diverse industries.
What size cutter should I use with this 18-inch paper?
Use a standard roll paper cutter rated for 18-inch width paper. Packrift offers compatible roll cutters that mount easily to counters or shelves, enabling clean, efficient cuts without product damage or paper waste.
