Common questions
Do I need special equipment or a warming unit to use Instapak Quick® RT bags?
No. Unlike standard Instapak Quick® systems, the RT version activates at room temperature (65-90°F) without any preheating equipment. Simply place the bag in your box with your product, seal, and the foam expands automatically.
What weight products can these 18 x 20" bags protect?
These heavy-duty bags are recommended for shipments between 40-80 lbs. The expandable polyurethane foam provides adequate cushioning and void-fill for industrial components and fragile items in this weight range.
Is cleanup required after the foam activates?
No cleanup required. All chemicals are contained and activated within the sealed bag, eliminating environmental exposure, worker contact, and disposal complexity associated with traditional foam-in-place systems.
How many bags are in each case, and what's the cost per unit?
Each case contains 30 Instapak Quick® RT bags (18 x 20 inches). This bulk quantity reduces per-unit costs, making it ideal for high-volume shippers and offers better ROI compared to equipment-dependent cushioning systems.
