Common questions
What ECT rating does this mailer have and why does it matter?
ECT-32-B provides excellent crush resistance for small parcels under 2 lbs. ECT (Edge Crush Test) rating indicates the mailer's ability to withstand stacking pressure, critical for warehouse operations where boxes are stacked multiple pallets high. ECT-32 is the sweet spot for lightweight items, balancing protection and cost-per-unit.
How much assembly labor does this save compared to traditional tape-sealed mailers?
One-piece folding mailers assemble in 3-5 seconds with no tape, glue, or staples required. For a 10,000-unit annual order, this eliminates approximately 40+ hours of assembly labor and eliminates tape/adhesive material costs, delivering 15-20% operational savings per box.
Can these mailers be used for fragile items like glassware?
Yes. Double-wall construction on the front and sides provides crush resistance and impact protection. For maximum protection, pair with internal void-fill materials like crinkle paper or bubble wrap to absorb shock during transit.
How do flat-ship mailers improve freight efficiency?
Shipping and storing flat reduces volumetric weight by 60-70% compared to pre-assembled boxes. Fewer pallets required per shipment means lower freight costs, faster inventory turnover, and reduced warehouse space overhead, essential for high-volume fulfillment operations.
