Common questions
What does ECT-32 mean and why does it matter for my shipping operations?
ECT-32 (Edge Crush Test 32 lbs/inch) indicates the box can withstand 32 pounds of force per linear inch of edge before crushing. For warehouse managers, this means reliable 2-3 tier stacking performance in standard distribution environments, reducing damage claims while keeping material costs low compared to higher-rated alternatives.
How many of these boxes do I need to order for a typical month?
Order quantity depends on your monthly shipment volume. These bundles of 25 are designed for flexibility, buy single bundles for testing or small operations, or order cases (typically 20 bundles per case) for volume discounts. Most fulfillment centers reorder every 2-4 weeks based on throughput.
Can these boxes handle pallet stacking in my warehouse?
Yes. ECT-32 kraft boxes support standard 2-3 tier stacking on pallets under normal warehouse conditions. For heavier products or 4+ tier requirements, consider upgrading to ECT-44 or double-wall options. Always factor product weight and pallet configuration into your stacking strategy.
Are kraft corrugated boxes recyclable and what's the environmental benefit?
Yes, 100% recyclable. Kraft corrugated reduces landfill waste and appeals to eco-conscious customers. Many facilities accept these in standard cardboard recycling programs, supporting your sustainability goals while maintaining shipping performance at competitive costs.
