About this item
SKU PL21 — 7" × 5.5", 2 Mil Poly, Clear. Sold as a case of 1000, shipped from US warehouses.
Clear poly windows let customers see your packing list instantly, no opening required. These 7x5.5" rear loading envelopes feature 2 mil tamper-evident adhesion strength and arrive in a case of 1,000 units, ready for high-volume e-commerce and 3PL operations.
Common questions
Will documents remain visible through the poly if ink smudges or fades?
Yes. The 2 mil clear polycarbonate face maintains optical clarity even with standard thermal and inkjet printing. We recommend standard document practices, but the poly won't yellow or cloud over time, ensuring readability throughout the shipping lifecycle.
How strong is the tamper-evident adhesion seal?
The adhesive provides permanent, tamper-evident sealing with sufficient adhesion strength to survive multiple handling points without premature opening. Once sealed, the envelope shows visible evidence of tampering, giving your operation and customers confidence in document integrity.
Are these envelopes suitable for rear loading into automated packing systems?
Yes. The back-loaded design allows for rapid manual dispensing and integrates with most standard envelope-feeding systems used in fulfillment centers. The 2 mil thickness provides structural rigidity for consistent feeding without jamming.
What documents fit best in a 7" x 5 1/2" envelope?
This size perfectly accommodates standard packing lists, invoices, picking tickets, and return labels. The compact footprint reduces material cost per unit while providing ample space for standard 8.5" x 5.5" documents folded once or multiple smaller documents stacked together.
