About this item
SKU PL456 — 7" × 5.5", 2 Mil Poly, Yellow. Sold as a case of 1000, shipped from US warehouses.
Protect your shipping documents with these pre-printed 7x5.5 " yellow packing list envelopes. Made from durable 2 mil poly with hot melt adhesive backing for secure attachment to corrugated boxes and paper packages. Each case contains 1,000 envelopes ready to simplify your fulfillment process.
Common questions
Will the hot melt adhesive stick to wet or cold corrugated boxes?
Hot melt adhesive performs best on dry surfaces at ambient warehouse temperatures (60 - 85°F). For optimal adhesion, apply envelopes to clean, dry corrugated immediately after removal from storage. In cold environments below 50°F, allow boxes to acclimate before application, or use a heat gun to activate the adhesive.
Can these envelopes be opened and resealed?
No. These envelopes are designed with permanent hot melt adhesive for tamper-evident security during shipping. Once applied and sealed, they cannot be cleanly removed or repositioned. This prevents document loss, theft, and unauthorized access, a critical compliance feature for logistics networks.
What size documents fit inside a 7" x 5 1/2" envelope?
These envelopes accommodate standard 8.5" x 5.5" packing slips, invoices, and BOLs when folded once, or smaller documents (up to 7" x 5.5") unfolded. The 2 mil poly material provides space for 2 - 3 pages of standard weight paper without bulk.
Are these envelopes compliant with shipping carrier requirements?
Yes. The bright yellow color and "Packing List Enclosed" pre-print meet USPS, UPS, and FedEx label placement standards. The 2 mil poly protects documents from weather and handling damage, supporting carrier scanning accuracy and reducing lost-package claims.
