Common questions
What does ECT-32 mean, and is it strong enough for stacking?
ECT-32 (Edge Crush Test) rating of 32 pounds per inch of board width meets standard single-wall performance for most tall-item applications. Single-wall construction keeps boxes lightweight while maintaining adequate crush resistance for palletized stacking up to 6 - 8 cartons high. For heavier loads or multi-tier pallets, compare against ECT-44 variants.
Why choose 8x8x40" instead of multiple shorter boxes?
A single tall box eliminates the need for mailing tubes or custom-cut containers, reducing material waste and SKU proliferation. End-loading makes packing fast, and the compact 8x8" footprint ships efficiently in mixed-carton pallets, cutting per-unit freight costs versus bulky alternatives.
How do these ship, and what's the storage impact?
Boxes arrive flat in bundles of 20, requiring minimal warehouse shelf space. Users simply unfold and assemble them before packing, enabling lean just-in-time operations and eliminating the cost of pre-assembled box storage.
Are these boxes eco-friendly?
Yes. Kraft corrugated is 100% recyclable and made from renewable fiber. Choosing single-wall over double-wall also reduces material consumption, making these boxes a cost-efficient and environmentally responsible choice for sustainable supply chains.
