Common questions
Do I need both inner and outer cartons?
Yes. This SKU (T6648OUTER) is the outer carton only. You must purchase the matching T6648INNER inner carton separately to create a functional two-piece telescoping box set. Both components are required for proper assembly and performance.
What is ECT-32 and why does it matter?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) 32 indicates single-wall corrugated board rated to withstand 32 pounds of crushing force per linear inch. This rating provides excellent stacking performance and durability for typical industrial shipping while maintaining cost efficiency, ideal for standard B2B warehouse operations.
How does the telescoping design reduce freight costs?
The adjustable two-piece construction compresses or extends to fit variable-height items, minimizing wasted space and reducing dimensional weight charges. Warehouse managers can right-size each shipment, lowering billable weight and improving overall freight efficiency without sacrificing product protection.
What makes the FOL (full overlap) bottom design important?
Full overlap bottom construction means the outer carton completely overlaps the inner carton base, distributing stacking loads evenly across the entire bottom surface. This engineering significantly increases crush resistance, stacking stability, and handling durability, critical for high-volume warehouses managing tall, heavy, or densely stacked shipments.
