Common questions
Do I need to buy inner and outer boxes separately?
Yes. This SKU (T6648OUTERDW) is the outer carton only. You must purchase the matching inner box (T6648INNERDW) to create a complete telescoping set. Buying as a set ensures proper fit and maximum stacking strength.
What does ECT-48 mean, and why does it matter?
ECT-48 (Edge Crush Test) indicates the carton can withstand 48 pounds of pressure per linear inch before crushing. Double wall construction with this rating is engineered for high-volume, multi-tier pallet stacking and protects contents during freight damage scenarios, reducing claims and returns.
Can these boxes handle irregular-shaped products?
Absolutely. The adjustable two-piece telescoping design allows you to compress or extend the outer box over the inner carton to accommodate products of varying heights and shapes, from 48" tall items to shorter merchandise, all within one SKU, eliminating need for multiple box sizes.
How do full overlap (FOL) bottoms improve performance?
FOL bottoms provide 100% overlap of the bottom flaps, creating a stronger base that resists puncture and protects against bottom panel separation during stacking, LTL shipment, and handling. This feature is critical for warehouse operations managing high-velocity throughput and multiple carrier transfers.
