Common questions
Do I need to order both inner and outer boxes separately?
Yes. The T8848INNER (this product) is the inner carton only. You must pair it with the T8848OUTER outer box to create a complete two-piece telescoping set. Both components are sold separately in bundles of 20.
What products can fit in an 8 x 8 x 48" telescoping box?
This dimension accommodates tall items up to 48" in height with an 8" x 8" footprint, ideal for poles, tubes, pipes, poster tubes, rolled textiles, LED strips, electrical conduit, and other extended-length products. The telescoping design allows the inner carton to adjust upward, accommodating items shorter than 48" without excess void.
What does ECT-32 mean and why does it matter for my warehouse?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) 32 measures corrugated strength at 32 pounds per inch. This single-wall rating handles multiple-tier stacking on pallets and withstands standard handling abuse. The FOL (full overlap) bottom adds 20-30% extra crush strength compared to standard bottoms, reducing damage rates on freight.
How many units fit on a pallet and what's the freight efficiency?
Flat-stacked bundles of 20 pack efficiently, typically 40-50 bundles per standard pallet (800-1,000 individual boxes). Because they ship flat, you save 60-70% inbound freight costs versus pre-assembled boxes, and your team can assemble only what you need, reducing storage waste.
