Common questions
Do I need to buy inner and outer boxes separately?
Yes. The T8872OUTER (this product) is the adjustable outer carton only. You must pair it with the T8872INNER inner box to create a functional two-piece telescoping set. Both are sold separately to let you order quantities that match your operation's needs.
What heights can this telescoping box accommodate?
The outer carton's adjustable design allows compression and extension to fit products of varying heights within the 72" nominal dimension. This flexibility eliminates the need to stock multiple tall carton sizes, reducing inventory complexity and freight inefficiency.
What is ECT-32 and why does it matter for stacking?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) 32 indicates kraft corrugated rated for 32 pounds of crushing force per linear inch. Combined with the FOL bottom design, this enables high-density stacking in warehouses and on pallets, maximizing cube utilization and reducing damage claims during handling.
How much weight can these boxes safely hold?
ECT-32 single-wall kraft is suitable for moderate-weight items and general fulfillment applications. For exact weight capacity, consult your box manufacturer's specifications or contact our team, stacking height, contents density, and environmental factors affect safe load limits.
