3M™ 969 bonds permanently to paper, plastics, metals, foams, and most composites through its high-tack acrylic adhesive. Very high initial adhesion means bonds set within seconds, critical for fast packing lines where cure time directly impacts throughput.
Optimal performance occurs at 70°F - 100°F. Outside this range, initial tack may reduce. For cold storage environments, allow tape to acclimate to room temperature before application. Shear holding power remains strong even at temperature extremes once the bond cures.
1/4" width is ideal for precision sealing on narrow joints, flaps, and edges while minimizing adhesive waste and cost-per-case. For larger sealing areas, stack multiple passes or step up to wider widths. The 18-yard length per roll maximizes efficiency per dispenser load.
