Common questions
Will the end caps stay on during shipping?
Yes. The white end caps snap securely into place and are engineered to prevent popping off during standard shipping and handling. They provide reliable content protection for USPS, UPS, and FedEx shipments.
What's the difference between usable length and actual tube length?
Usable length (9") refers to the internal space available for your contents. The actual tube is slightly longer to accommodate the end caps. Measure your documents to ensure they fit within the 9" usable space.
Can I reorder replacement end caps separately?
Yes. Additional 1 1/2" white end caps are available for purchase separately (SKU: PMTCAP15-C820), allowing you to extend the life of your tubes or stockpile replacements for your mailroom.
Are these tubes suitable for archival document storage?
These kraft tubes are excellent for medium-term storage and shipping. The spiral wound construction and recyclable kraft material protect documents during transit. For long-term archival storage (10+ years), consult with our specialists about acid-free options.
