About this item
SKU T935260 — 60 yds. × 60 yds., 4.4 Mil, White. Sold as a case of 36, shipped from US warehouses.
3M 2600 masking tape delivers economical, reliable sealing for production lines and bundling operations. Writable crepe paper backing with rubber adhesive withstands up to 150°F. Case includes 36 rolls of 1 " x 60 yds for consistent, worry-free dispensing.
Common questions
Will this tape work on corrugated cardboard and composite cores?
Yes. The rubber adhesive bonds well to corrugated, kraft, and standard cardboard cores. The crepe backing won't leave residue when removed, making it ideal for temporary case sealing and bundling without damaging box surfaces.
Can operators write directly on this tape without pre-printed labels?
Absolutely. The smooth crepe paper surface accepts pen, pencil, and marker markings cleanly. This reduces labeling labor by allowing supervisors to mark lot codes, dates, and handling notes directly during the sealing process.
How does this perform on high-speed packing line dispensers?
The 4.4 mil thickness and easy-tear crepe backing are optimized for standard tape gun dispensers and automated tape applicators. The consistent unwind and clean tear-off reduce jams and downtime compared to thicker or brittle alternatives.
Is this tape suitable for sealed shipments that may experience heat or humidity?
For short-term exposure, yes, it withstands up to 150°F for one hour. However, for extended transit in warm climates or for permanent case sealing, consider upgrading to reinforced or water-resistant packaging tape for maximum hold integrity.
