Common questions
What weight capacity do these bags handle?
With 66 lb. basis weight kraft paper and gusseted construction, these bags safely carry typical grocery and retail items. The gusseted design distributes weight across the side walls, preventing tears and extending bag life for multiple uses.
Are these bags suitable for hot or wet items?
These kraft paper bags are ideal for dry goods and room-temperature items. For wet or hot items, we recommend checking with our team about moisture-resistant coatings or barrier options to meet your specific operational needs.
How do gusseted sides improve functionality?
Gusseted side walls create expandable space along the bag bottom and sides, allowing customers to pack bulkier items without stress tears. This reduces bag failures at checkout, improves customer satisfaction, and decreases packaging waste per transaction.
Can we order in bulk and what volume discounts apply?
Yes, these bags are sold by the case (500 bags per case) and are ideal for bulk purchasing. Contact our sales team for volume pricing on larger orders, most retailers find cost per bag decreases significantly with multi-case purchases.
