Common questions
Will this tape work with my existing carton sealing tape dispenser?
Yes. The 2" x 55 yds format and 2.2 mil thickness are compatible with all standard manual and electric tape dispensers. For optimal dispenser performance, browse our Carton Sealing Tape Dispensers collection to ensure your equipment matches the roll specifications.
How does acrylic adhesive perform in cold storage or high-humidity environments?
Acrylic adhesive maintains consistent bonding strength across temperature ranges from 40°F to 90°F and humidity levels up to 85%, making it ideal for climate-controlled warehouses and cold chain logistics without adhesive failure or tape slippage.
What's the difference between 2.2 mil and heavier gauge tapes for case sealing?
The 2.2 mil polypropylene provides excellent puncture and abrasion resistance while feeding smoothly through standard dispensers without jamming. Heavier gauges offer marginally more durability but reduce dispenser compatibility and increase material costs, 2.2 mil is the optimal balance for high-volume packing lines.
Can I use yellow tape for all shipments or just specific categories?
Yellow tape is most effective as a color-coded identifier for specific shipment types (e.g., UPS Ground, standard domestic). Combining yellow with other Tape Logic colors (red, blue, green) creates a visual sorting system that accelerates line throughput and reduces picking errors by 40%+.
