About this item
SKU T967465 — 60 yds. × 60 yds., 2.0 Mil, Clear. Sold as a case of 24, shipped from US warehouses.
3M 465 adhesive transfer tape delivers instant adhesion and reliable shear holding power for high-speed packing lines. Each case includes 24 hand rolls (2 " x 60 yds.) of 2 mil clear acrylic tape with densified kraft paper liner. 3 " core size fits standard dispensers, ready for immediate case sealing and mounting applications.
Common questions
Will this tape work with my existing hand-roll dispenser?
Yes. The 3" core diameter is the industry standard, ensuring compatibility with nearly all manual and semi-automatic tape dispensers used in packaging operations. Verify your dispenser's core opening before ordering.
How does initial adhesion affect case sealing speed?
The quick-stick acrylic adhesive creates permanent bonds within seconds of application, eliminating wait time between sealed cases. This fast tack significantly increases throughput on high-speed packing lines compared to slower-setting alternatives.
What substrates does the 3M 465 bond reliably?
This general-purpose tape excels on paper, cardboard, fabric, plastics, and decorative materials. Its aggressive adhesive formula works on both clean and slightly dusty surfaces typical in packing environments, though optimal results require 70°F-100°F conditions.
Is the kraft paper liner easy to remove during application?
Yes. The densified kraft liner peels cleanly with minimal resistance, allowing operators to apply the adhesive side down without slowdowns. This design prevents liner slip during high-speed case sealing operations.
