Common questions
Will this tape work with our automatic case sealing dispensers?
Yes. The 5.6 mil thickness and standard 3" cardboard core are engineered for compatibility with both manual hand dispensers and automatic machine dispensers commonly used in packing operations. The crepe paper backing feeds smoothly without slipping or jamming.
How does the moisture resistance benefit our packing operation?
The moisture and oil-resistant formula prevents adhesive degradation in humid warehouse environments and protects against oils from machinery and handling. This ensures your case seals remain secure throughout storage and shipping, reducing returns from failed packaging.
What's the difference between 5.6 mil and thinner masking tapes?
The 5.6 mil thickness provides holding power for medium-duty applications while remaining easy for operators to tear by hand. Thinner tapes often slip during application or fail under tension, while thicker alternatives create waste and slow line speed.
Can we recycle these rolls after use?
Yes. Both the crepe paper tape and cardboard cores are recyclable, supporting your sustainability goals. Simply separate cores from spent rolls and process through your standard cardboard and paper recycling streams.
