Tartan™ 8934 filament tape delivers reliable adhesion for light-duty carton sealing and bundling with minimal rub-down required. This 2 " x 60 yds case contains 12 rolls of 4.0 mil clear polypropylene tape reinforced with glass yarn filaments for holding power on plastic, metal, and corrugated surfaces.
Filament and strapping tape: Good fit for bundling, reinforcing cartons, pallet prep, appliance parts, and high-strength warehouse packaging. This tape helps fulfillment, warehouse, ecommerce, and shipping teams choose the right carton-sealing tape for hand packing, machine packing, storage, and outbound order workflows.
Common questions
Does this filament tape work with standard carton sealing dispensers?
Yes, this 2" tape is compatible with most industry-standard filament tape dispensers. Packrift offers Tartan™ Filament Tape Dispensers specifically engineered for optimal core compatibility, even tension control, and reduced operator strain during high-volume packing operations.
What surfaces does this tape adhere to most effectively?
Tartan™ 8934 bonds reliably to corrugated cardboard, plastics, metals, and coated surfaces. The synthetic rubber resin adhesive provides excellent initial tack without requiring excessive rub-down, making it ideal for fast-paced packing lines where speed and consistency matter.
Is this tape suitable for moisture-prone or humid environments?
The 4.0 mil polypropylene backing and synthetic rubber adhesive resist moisture and humidity, making this tape suitable for climate-controlled warehouses and standard shipping conditions. For extreme environments, Packrift offers heavier-duty alternatives.
How much cost savings can we expect by switching to this 12-pack case format?
Bulk case purchases of 12 rolls reduce per-roll material costs and ordering frequency, lowering procurement overhead for high-volume packing lines. Contact our team for volume pricing and ROI analysis specific to your application demands.
