Common questions
What ECT rating does this mailer have and why does it matter?
ECT-32-B corrugated provides 32 PSI edge crush test rating, sufficient for small, lightweight parcels under 5 lbs. This rating ensures crush resistance during stacking in warehouses and handling in automated sort facilities without excessive material cost.
Do I need tape, staples, or glue to seal these mailers?
No. The one-piece fold-and-tuck design seals automatically when folded, eliminating tape, glue, and staple expenses while reducing packing time by up to 45 seconds per unit at scale.
How many mailers fit on a standard pallet and what's the dimensional weight impact?
A standard pallet holds 2,000, 2,500 units (40, 50 bundles). At 5x5x1 inches, each mailer measures 25 cubic inches; 50 units = 1,250 cubic inches, meeting DIM weight thresholds for standard parcel carriers and avoiding surcharges.
Are these mailers suitable for fragile items like cosmetics or electronics?
Yes. Double-wall construction on the front and sides provides crush resistance for fragile goods. The compact 1-inch depth is ideal for thin, breakable items (jewelry, phone cases, glass bottles) while staying within carrier weight limits.
