Common questions
What does ECT-32-B mean and why does it matter for my shipping operation?
ECT-32-B refers to Edge Crush Test rating of 32 pounds per inch, indicating the mailer can withstand 32 lbs of vertical crushing force. This standard supports multi-package stacking in warehouses and vehicles without product damage, protecting your inventory and reducing shrinkage claims.
How much labor time does fold-and-tuck design save versus traditional glued boxes?
Operators can assemble and fill fold-and-tuck mailers in 8-12 seconds without tape, glue, or staples, approximately 60% faster than traditional closure methods. For high-volume operations (1,000+ units/day), this translates to measurable labor cost reduction.
Will these mailers pass carrier dimensional weight thresholds?
Yes. At 5x5x4", these mailers fall within standard parcel dimensions for most carriers (FedEx, UPS, USPS). The lightweight ECT-32-B construction minimizes actual weight while maintaining crush resistance, optimizing your dimensional-to-actual-weight ratio.
Can I bulk-purchase at volume discounts for annual fulfillment forecasts?
Contact our B2B sales team for volume pricing on orders of 500+ bundles (25,000+ units). Packrift offers tiered discounts and just-in-time fulfillment programs to align with your inventory management strategy.
