Common questions
What does ECT-32-B mean, and how does it compare to other ratings?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) measures corrugated board strength. ECT-32-B means this material resists 32 pounds of force per linear inch and features B-flute construction. This rating is ideal for lightweight items (under 2 lbs) and provides excellent crush resistance for items stacked 3, 4 boxes high on pallets.
Will these mailers work with automated packing lines?
Yes. The fold-and-tuck design is compatible with semi-automated and manual fulfillment workflows. One operator can fold and seal 300+ mailers per hour. For fully automated systems, pre-folding by hand takes approximately 2 minutes per 50-unit bundle.
Can I reduce shipping costs using these 661" mailers?
Absolutely. The compact 1" depth minimizes dimensional weight surcharges on UPS, FedEx, and USPS. For a typical 0.5 lb item, switching to this format saves $0.15‚$0.35 per shipment. At 10,000 units annually, that's $1,500‚$3,500 in direct freight savings.
Are these mailers environmentally friendly?
Yes. ECT-32-B corrugated is 100% recyclable and made from sustainably sourced paperboard. Using mailers instead of plastic shipping bags reduces your carbon footprint and appeals to eco-conscious customers and compliance audits.
