Common questions
What does ECT-32-B mean and how does it impact performance?
ECT-32-B indicates an Edge Crush Test rating of 32 lbs/in², meaning each linear inch of the mailer edge can withstand 32 pounds of crushing force. This rating ensures reliable protection during warehouse stacking, sorting, and transit, critical for operations handling multiple layers of boxes on pallets.
How much assembly labor do these one-piece mailers save?
These fold-and-tuck mailers eliminate tape, glue, and stapling steps entirely. Operators can assemble, fill, and seal each mailer in seconds, reducing labor costs by 40-60% compared to traditional four-flap cartons while maintaining professional presentation.
Can these mailers stack efficiently for freight optimization?
Yes. The rigid ECT-32-B construction and compact 7 x 7 x 3" footprint deliver excellent stacking strength and pallet density. This reduces dimensional weight charges and freight costs, especially beneficial for operations shipping high volumes of small items nationally or internationally.
Are these mailers suitable for fragile items?
Absolutely. The double-wall corrugated construction on front and sides provides crush-resistant protection for delicate goods like electronics, glassware, and cosmetics. The sealed mailer design also prevents shifting during transit, enhancing product protection and reducing damage claims.
