Common questions
What does ECT-32-B mean, and how does it impact stacking performance?
ECT-32-B refers to Edge Crush Test strength (32 lbs/inch) with B-flute corrugation. This specification ensures mailers withstand 5-7 box stacks without deformation, ideal for multi-tier warehouse storage and pallet stability during freight handling.
How much labor time do these fold-and-tuck mailers save compared to tape-sealed boxes?
Operators assemble and close these mailers in under 5 seconds per unit, no tape, glue, or staples required. A single fulfillment associate can process 400-500 units per hour, reducing labor costs by 30-40% versus traditional glued cartons.
Will these 886" mailers fit standard pallet dimensions and reduce freight costs?
Yes. The compact 886" footprint maximizes pallet efficiency (typically 50-60 mailers per layer), reducing cubic weight charges on LTL and parcel shipments. Lightweight construction further cuts per-unit postage versus heavier corrugate alternatives.
Are these mailers suitable for fragile items like glassware or electronics?
Yes. Double-wall crush-resistant construction on front and sides protects fragile contents during transit. The rigid fold-and-tuck design eliminates collapsing or shifting inside the mailer, reducing damage claims and returns in fulfillment operations.
