Common questions
Are these labels IATA and DOT compliant for hazardous materials shipments?
Yes. The 2" x 8" dimensions and high-contrast red/white design meet international hazmat labeling requirements. Confirm specific hazmat classifications with your regulatory compliance team, as label placement and accompanying documentation vary by material type and destination country.
Will these labels adhere properly to corrugated cardboard in cold or humid conditions?
The semi-gloss coated paper and permanent adhesive formulation provide reliable adhesion in temperatures from 32°F to 120°F and humidity levels up to 95%. For extreme cold-chain logistics, we recommend testing on your specific carton substrate before high-volume application.
Can I use these labels with existing label applicator equipment?
These labels are compatible with Packrift tabletop dispensers (SL9506, SL9512, SL9518) and wall-mount dispensers (LDM300, LDM450, LDM850, LDM1250) for consistent, hands-free application at shipping stations. Manual peel-and-apply is also straightforward for lower-volume operations.
How many labels do I need per shipment, and what's the typical cost per unit?
One label per carton is standard for directional marking. A roll of 500 typically covers 500 packages, making unit cost minimal for high-volume shippers. Bulk ordering (multiple rolls) often qualifies for volume discounts, contact our team for pricing on your shipping velocity.
