Common questions
Are these loop dots compatible with standard tape dispensers on my packing line?
Yes, the 1/2" diameter and standard nylon construction are compatible with most automated tape dot dispensers. Verify your dispenser's core specifications before ordering. We recommend testing a sample case with your existing equipment to confirm use.
Do these loop dots work in refrigerated or heated environments?
Absolutely. The rubber-based, pressure-sensitive adhesive maintains bond strength across both high and low temperature environments, making these dots ideal for cold storage facilities, refrigerated trucks, and heated warehouses. Weather-resistant properties prevent degradation from humidity and temperature fluctuations.
How many hook-and-loop bonds does each dot create?
Each 1/2" loop dot creates hundreds of interlocking micro-bonds when pressed against a compatible hook surface. This multiplied contact area ensures secure case sealing even under the stress and vibration of conveyor systems and shipping transport.
Can I reuse these dots, or are they single-use?
When properly removed, loop dots can be reused multiple times without losing adhesive or fastening strength. This makes them cost-effective for returnable shipping containers and reusable packing solutions. However, adhesive performance may degrade after 10-15 reuse cycles depending on substrate and handling conditions.
