Common questions
What ECT rating does this mailer have and why does it matter?
This mailer features ECT-32-B corrugated, meaning it can withstand 32 lbs of burst strength per linear inch. For small-parcel shipping, this provides crush resistance during sorting, conveyor handling, and stacking, protecting product integrity without the material cost of higher ECT grades.
How much assembly labor does this one-piece mailer save?
The fold-and-tuck design assembles in seconds with zero tape, glue, or staples. A single operator can prep 300+ units per hour, reducing per-unit labor costs by 60-70% compared to traditional box assembly.
Will this mailer affect dimensional weight pricing?
The compact 5x3x1" footprint is specifically designed to minimize dimensional weight charges with major carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS). For lightweight items, this dimension typically avoids DIM surcharges and reduces per-shipment postage by 15-25%.
Is this mailer suitable for fragile items?
Yes. The double-wall corrugated construction on front and sides provides crush-resistant protection for fragile lightweight items like jewelry, cosmetics, and small electronics. For heavier or more delicate items, consider adding interior cushioning or upgrading to higher ECT ratings.
