Common questions
What does ECT-32-B mean, and how does it affect shipping performance?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) 32-B indicates the corrugated material withstands 32 pounds of force per linear inch before crushing. This mid-range strength is engineered for small parcel shipping and light-to-medium item protection, balancing durability with cost efficiency and keeping postage rates competitive.
How much assembly labor do these one-piece mailers actually save?
By eliminating tape, glue, and staples, workers assemble each mailer in 2-3 seconds versus 8-12 seconds for traditional boxes. At scale, a fulfillment center processing 500+ orders daily saves 40+ labor hours monthly while reducing material costs.
Can these mailers stack safely during storage and transit?
Yes. The double-wall corrugated construction and crush-resistant design support stacking heights of 4-5 mailers flat-packed, or stable stacking of assembled units during temporary staging before shipment. Always confirm weight distribution for your specific product load.
What's the freight advantage of flat-pack storage?
Flat-packed bundles reduce cubic footage by approximately 85% compared to pre-assembled boxes. This dramatically lowers warehousing costs and allows higher unit volumes per pallet, directly reducing per-box freight expenses and improving inventory turnover.
