Common questions
What does ECT-32-B mean, and why does it matter for shipping?
ECT-32-B indicates Edge Crush Test rating of 32 pounds per inch, meaning this corrugated can withstand 32 lbs of crush force per linear inch of edge. This rating ensures reliable protection for small, lightweight shipments while maintaining cost efficiency compared to heavier-grade materials.
Do these mailers require tape or adhesive?
No. The one-piece fold-and-tuck design requires no tape, glue, or staples. Simply fold the box together in seconds for immediate use, reducing labor time and material costs per unit.
How many units fit on a standard pallet, and what are freight savings?
The compact 5 x 3 x 5" footprint and flat-shipped bundle design maximize pallet utilization compared to larger mailer sizes. Typical customers see 15-25% freight cost reduction and 30-40% storage space savings versus bulkier alternatives.
Are these mailers suitable for fragile items?
Yes. The double-wall corrugated construction on front and sides provides crush resistance ideal for protecting small fragile items like electronics, cosmetics, and glassware during transit and handling.
